    Why we chose it

After Mercedes produced her early Frantoio oils, we decided to bottle a limited batch of what she liked best. She has selected the fruit, supervised the mill, and made the batches.

    Pairing

    How to enjoy it

A Frantoio that is sweet on the palate, with fruitiness, bitterness, and spiciness in equal measure, and notes of grass, banana peel, and bitter almond. Balanced: it neither hides nor overpowers.

With pasta and rice: pasta with vegetables, mushroom risotto, or creamy rice, added at the end off the heat.

With grilled or roasted seasonal vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, artichoke) and warmed legumes, such as lentils or hummus.

With grilled fish and white meats. The bitter almond finish gives the dish a touch that salt cannot provide.

With semi-cured cheeses and on a slice of bread rubbed with tomato. And if you want to discover the variety's origins, try it on a Tuscan-style bruschetta.

    Buensalud · Aceites Guadalquivir

    The mill

    Buensalud · Aceites Guadalquivir
