Tasting notes
This Picual is reminiscent of aromatic herbs and rocket, with intense notes of tomato plant and green almond. In the background, fig tree and banana peel emerge. On the palate it enters showing its character with a gentle smooth touch, then bitterness makes its appearance, giving way to a clear peppery finish -- both beautifully balanced. The aftertaste is of green nuts and endive.
Pairing
Give your pasta, rice, potato or quinoa salads a vegetal edge. Pairs perfectly with toasts topped with cured Iberian meats and smoked delicacies. With fatty fish on the grill, as well as with vegetables.
Elogio is the story of three generations in the Sierra de Cazorla — from grandfather Manuel to the grandchildren who have made the leap to premium production. The olive trees are in the Paraje de las Hoyas, within the protected natural area, and that privileged location translates into an oil with the aromatic intensity that only the sierra can give. One of those family projects that reminds us that generational succession in the countryside can be an opportunity.
Know every detail

Elogio is the echo of three generations of an olive-farming family in the Sierra de Cazorla. Grandfather Manuel laid the foundations, his son Celedonio kept the faith, and his grandchildren — Celedonio and Angel Noguera Martinez — have made the leap to premium production. The olive trees are in the Paraje de las Hoyas, within the protected natural area of the Sierra de Cazorla, the largest protected area in Spain.
High-mountain olive growing. That is not an adjective: it is a fact that defines the oil. At that altitude ripening is slower, polyphenols accumulate, and aromas intensify. Elogio is produced as an early harvest in the first days of October and has a high polyphenol content.
The profile is highland Picual: intense fruitiness, with notes of fig tree, olive leaf, green almond, tomato plant, and artichoke. Bitterness and pungency with presence but well harmonised. An oil guaranteed by the DOP Sierra de Cazorla — a designation of origin that demands specific quality standards.
Three generations in the Sierra de Cazorla, high-mountain olive groves, DOP. We selected it because we love the story behind it: a grandfather who planted the trees, a son who maintained them, and grandchildren who are making an oil that honours both. That shows in every bottle.

Extra virgin olive oil is a fresh product. Its quality depends on proper storage and consuming it within its optimal date. If an online shop does not tell you which lot it will ship or when it expires, you have no way of knowing if what you receive is from this harvest or two years ago.
Be wary of shops that do not publish this information. We show it because we believe you have the right to know exactly what you are buying.
The Noguera Martinez family, three generations of olive growers in the Sierra de Cazorla. The company is INNOVARTIA S.L., based in Peligros (Granada), but the groves are in Pozo Alcon (Jaen), within the Natural Park.
A Protected Designation of Origin certifying that the oil comes from the Cazorla region and meets specific quality standards. It's not a decorative label: it involves real controls.
Because the groves are in the Paraje de las Hoyas, at considerable altitude within the Sierra de Cazorla. Altitude directly affects the ripening of the olive and the oil's profile.
