Tasting notes
This complex Arbequina presents aromas of freshly cut grass, fruit puree and almond. On the palate it enters sweet, with a gentle pungency appearing at the finish. The aftertaste is almond-like and fresh.
Pairing
This Arbequina is perfect for raw use by those who appreciate fruity yet mild EVOOs. Ideal with yogurt and mango. Exceptional for culinary use in sauces, baking and mayonnaises.
Oiltopia's Arbequina is sweet, complex and elegant, with that fruit puree on the palate that appears quickly and an almond finish that makes it tremendously pleasant. What I love about this EVOO is that it wins over every palate, even those seeking more intense aromas.
Know every detail

This Arbequina does not come from Catalonia or Aragon, where everyone expects the variety to originate. It comes from super-intensive olive groves along the Guadalquivir, harvested in October while the olives are still green and milled within the first hours. Its location gives it a distinctive profile: the Guadalquivir basin produces Arbequinas with nuances you won't find in the northern Mediterranean.
It is a complex, sweet oil with no rough edges, produced with complete vertical integration. The kind of Arbequina that proves controlling the entire chain -- from grove to bottle -- makes all the difference, and that the type of cultivation does not determine quality.
What we love about Oiltopia is the control they have over the entire process, from estate to bottle. This Arbequina from Cordoba is complex, sweet and smooth -- the oil we put on the table when friends come for dinner and we want them to discover that mild varieties can be truly fascinating too.

Extra virgin olive oil is a fresh product. Its quality depends on proper storage and consuming it within its optimal date. If an online shop does not tell you which lot it will ship or when it expires, you have no way of knowing if what you receive is from this harvest or two years ago.
Be wary of shops that do not publish this information. We show it because we believe you have the right to know exactly what you are buying.
From Villa del Rio, Cordoba. Not from Catalonia or Aragon. Arbequina adapts well to different climates, and in the Guadalquivir basin it can develop a profile with a gentle hint of pungency at the finish.
