Tasting notes
On the nose, almond and red tomato aromas stand out, followed by fruit compote and dried fruits. On the palate, the fruit compote appears quickly, leaving a final taste of pear. A sweet and elegant extra virgin olive oil.
Pairing
This Arbequina is perfect for raw use by those who appreciate milder oils, and it is also exceptional for cooking — sauces, pastries and mayonnaises.
Oiltopia's Arbequina is sweet and elegant, with that fruit compote on the palate that appears quickly and a final pear note that makes it very pleasant. What I like about this oil is its vertical integration — from grove to bottling with no intermediaries — and you can taste it in the cleanliness of the product. A great entry point for anyone looking for an uncomplicated Arbequina.
Know every detail

Oiltopia is the brand of Aceites Estrella del Guadalquivir, a mill founded in 2009 in Villa del Rio, Cordoba. What sets this Arbequina apart is its vertical control: from the grove to bottling, with no intermediaries. The entire process is under one roof.
This Arbequina does not come from Catalonia or Aragon, where most people associate the variety. It comes from super-intensive olive groves along the Guadalquivir, harvested in October while the olives are still green and milled within hours. The Cordoban terroir gives it a distinctive profile: the Guadalquivir basin produces Arbequinas with nuances you won't find in the northern Mediterranean.
A clean, sweet oil with no rough edges, produced with complete vertical integration. The kind of Arbequina that proves that controlling the entire chain — from grove to bottle — makes a real difference compared to industrial production where the olives pass through too many hands.
What we love about Oiltopia is their control over the entire process, from grove to bottle. This Arbequina from Cordoba is clean, sweet and smooth — the oil we put on the table when friends come for dinner and we want everyone to enjoy without debates about intensity.

Extra virgin olive oil is a fresh product. Its quality depends on proper storage and consuming it within its optimal date. If an online shop does not tell you which lot it will ship or when it expires, you have no way of knowing if what you receive is from this harvest or two years ago.
Be wary of shops that do not publish this information. We show it because we believe you have the right to know exactly what you are buying.
From Villa del Río, Córdoba. Not from Catalonia or Aragón. Arbequina adapts well to different climates, and in the Guadalquivir basin it produces a distinct profile: more red tomato and almond, less green grass.
It means Oiltopia controls the entire process: they grow the trees, harvest, mill, bottle and distribute. There are no middlemen. This reduces the risk of defects and ensures full traceability.
Yes, it is one of the mildest in the catalogue. Sweet, fruity, without aggressive bitterness. The ideal oil for introducing someone to quality extra virgin olive oil.
Absolutely. Its sweetness and the absence of intense green notes make it compatible with doughs, sponge cakes and biscuits where you need a quality fat without the oil flavour dominating.
Consume it within 4–6 weeks once opened. Always keep it sealed, in a dark, cool place (not in the fridge). Arbequina has lower oxidative stability than Picual, so it should be used sooner.
