Jabalcuz Gran Selección is an early harvest extra virgin olive oil , made exclusively with Picual variety olives .

Produced by the Andalusian Cooperative Society Sierra de la Pandera , located in Los Villares, Jaén , this oil is obtained by cold extraction of olives harvested in October, which guarantees maximum quality and preservation of its natural properties.

Its excellence has been recognized with the “Jaén Selección 2025” distinction, awarded to the best EVOOs in the province.

Extra virgin fruitydeep green, made with selected olives, harvested in October, at the optimum moment of ripeness and milled immediately upon arrival at the oil mill, which gives it sensational organoleptic characteristics.

With a voluptuous nose, they are recognized as plantsTomato, artichoke, green almond, fig, green apple, green banana, aromatic plants and green grass.

Resounding presence in the mouth, the bitterness ismedium-high intensityand the progressive, broad-spectrum spiciness, but they harmonize in their union with the fruitiness.

This oil is especially indicated forenhance the flavor of white fishsuch as sea bass or cod, either baked or grilled.

It also complements perfectlyfresh and semi-cured cheeses, enhancing its milky nuances. It is ideal fordressing Mediterranean saladswith ingredients such as tomato, cucumber and black olives.

In addition, its use inpasta disheswith light sauces based on vegetables or seafood, it provides an additional dimension of flavor.

No soy de paladar fino, pero la diferencia con el típico aceite de supermercado es tremenda. Creo que es un aceite con un gran equilibrio. Eso sí, para las tostadas escogería un aceite con más carácter, que tuviera más fuerza.
