History

The standard of quality in Premium Oil

The story of Oro Bailén begins with the Gálvez family, who previously worked in the brick industry. In 2002, they decided to diversify their business and enter the world of extra virgin olive oil, founding Galgón 99 SL. Since then, they have transformed their estates "La Casa del Agua" and "Los Juncales" into high-density olive groves, implementing integrated and sustainable production practices. Their focus on quality and innovation has allowed them to position themselves as one of the most prestigious olive mills in Spain.

Manufacturing process

Speed and precision for an exceptional EVOO

Oro Bailén is characterized by its meticulous production process, which begins with the harvesting of olives at their peak ripeness. Harvesting is done semi-manually, combining traditional and mechanical methods to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Less than two hours after harvesting, the olives are transported to the oil mill, where they undergo a cold extraction process at temperatures below 21°C. This rapid and careful procedure guarantees the preservation of the oil's fruity aromas and flavors, resulting in an EVOO of great complexity and balance.
