Where
The tasting takes place at our oleoteca at C. Paz, 12, in the historic centre of Granada, next to Plaza de la Trinidad, 3 min from the Cathedral. Two minutes from Paseo de los Tristes and a five-minute walk from the Albaicín.
Warm the cobalt glass, cover, breathe. Name the aromas before you taste.
A sip drawn with air. Bitterness and a peppery finish mean fresh, healthy oil.
We reveal the lab sheet — acidity, harvest, varietal, altitude.
Whichever way you arrive, every experience is led by Mercedes herself — training your nose, decoding acidity and polyphenols, and naming the grove behind each oil. Professional tasting in Spanish and English, without unnecessary jargon.
“Once you've smelled a great Picual blind, the supermarket shelf never looks the same again.”
