Finca Badenes is a family project that works because they control everything within the estate itself — from the olive tree to the bottle. This Picual from the Guadalquivir valley has the character of the variety well expressed, with the advantage of immediate milling. An honest oil that reflects exactly what a family olive estate of 200 hectares in Jabalquinto can deliver when worked with rigour.
Know every detail

Finca Badenes is a family project born from 200 hectares of olive groves in the Guadalquivir valley, in Jabalquinto, Jaen. Grandfather Matias bought the estate in 1965 and named it after the terrain's undulations. Today the family cultivates four varieties — Picual, Frantoio, Arbequina, and Empeltre — in three different systems: traditional, intensive, and super-high-density.
The mill and bottling plant are at the heart of the estate. From olive tree to bottle without leaving home. This Picual is early harvest, milled on the same day. The family controls the entire process — they do not buy olives from third parties, they do not outsource milling, and they do not rely on intermediaries for bottling.
Finca Badenes Picual has entered the Top 100 of the world's best EVOOs. Gold medal at Brazil iOOC 2020 and awards at Expoliva. A Picual from Jaen with a track record, made by a family with three generations on the same land.
A family that controls everything — from olive tree to bottle — across 200 hectares of the Guadalquivir valley. We tried their Picual at a fair and kept it. A classic Jaen oil, unpretentious, that does exactly what it promises. Sometimes that is all you need.

Extra virgin olive oil is a fresh product. Its quality depends on proper storage and consuming it within its optimal date. If an online shop does not tell you which lot it will ship or when it expires, you have no way of knowing if what you receive is from this harvest or two years ago.
Be wary of shops that do not publish this information. We show it because we believe you have the right to know exactly what you are buying.
