A single-estate extra virgin olive oil, cold-milled and tasted blind before it reaches the shelf.

No es un aceite con aroma de limón — es un aceite molido con limones reales del Valle de Lecrín, pelados a mano, más de 1.000 por lote. La extracción es simultánea con aceitunas Arbequina frescas, y lo que sale es un aceite que huele y sabe a tarta de limón y limonada de una forma natural que los aromatizados de laboratorio no pueden imitar. En boca es dulce y fresco, y deja el paladar con una sensación cítrica que invita a repetir.

How is it made? Is it a flavoured oil?
It's not a flavoured oil with added essences. The lemons are peeled by hand and placed in the mill together with the Arbequina olives during milling. The extraction is simultaneous. It's a natural condiment, with no additives of any kind.
Where do the lemons come from?
From the Lecrin Valley in Granada, 20 km from Quaryat's olive oil mill in Dilar. It's one of the most important lemon-growing areas in Andalusia. They are selected in December, coinciding with the milling campaign.
Which dishes does it work best in?
In everything that would be enhanced by a citrus touch: salads, baked or grilled fish, ceviches, carpaccios, hummus, steamed vegetables, and desserts like sponge cakes or ice cream. It's an oil that invites experimentation.
How long does it last?
As a condiment (not a pure EVOO), its shelf life is somewhat shorter: 12 months sealed, 1-2 months once opened. Always store in darkness and away from heat.
