Updated (2025) — Selection of award-winning EVOOs in 2025, focused on brands of extra virgin olive oil available at Molino y Cata, with proven references in Iberoleum, Jaén Selección and/or EVOOLEUM.
Criteria: We only include brands/products with a verified 2025 award and an active purchase link in the store. We know that not all those that deserve it are included, but all those listed are deserving.
What awards will matter in 2025?
- EVOOLEUM : an internationally recognized guide and awards program; it values sensory quality, consistency, and packaging.
- Iberoleum : Spanish guide that rates the best EVOO by category (intense, medium, mild).
- Jaén Selección : annual selection by the Jaén Provincial Council with very high prestige among producers.
- Mario Solinas (IOC) : competition of the International Olive Council, one of the most demanding.
We have focused on these awards because they are Spanish oils, and later we will do a ranking of international olive oil brands and awards from beyond our borders.

Why are there no historical brands appearing?
This list only includes verified 2025 awards . Brands with a long history that haven't received an award in 2025 are not listed. Many of these brands choose not to submit for awards. While awards are a stepping stone, they aren't everything, and in fact, we consider many oils without awards that we believe are at a premium level.
